About The Couple
Their Journey
Sunny and Karen have been family friends since their childhood. They started dating when Karen began with her first year of University. “From the moment we went on our first date, I knew this was the man I’d marry and now the rest is history”, she quotes.
They both love to travel, watch movies, eat, go on random adventures, and basically anything in each other’s company.
The Proposal
After dating for four years, Sunny popped the question to Karen on a private yacht off the coast of Sydney Harbor in April 2017. He spent five months planning each and every element of the proposal whilst making sure she didn’t suspect a thing.
He led her to believe that they are to attend his Annual Work Ball (a really fancy one) for which they bought her dress together, arranged for her makeup and even got her nails done. A romantic proposal on a yacht with a photographer and a cinematographer to capture it all was surely an overwhelming one for Karen straight out of dreams.
