A Sikh Wedding In Sydney With The Couple In Spectacular Outfits

Jashan & Karan

“Certain connections with people can’t be ignored and the spark between the both of us was something time didn’t impact in any way!”

These words by our bride Jashan sums up her and Karan’s tale in a single sentence whilst, resonating with so many stories out there. And mostly, the classic YRF love tales where the two who are meant to be together always end up with each other.

And well, this YRF parallelism doesn’t just stop there. It quite effervescently flows into Jashan & Karan’s wedding celebration as well since, the bride always wanted a “textbook YRF style big, fat, and phatak Bollywood wedding.”

Further entwined with their typical Punjabi traditions, upbeat decor, flamboyant designer outfits, and boisterous merrymaking, this couple’s wedding is a pompous charmer! It’ll swoon you over as much as it had us going all head over heels.

About The Couple

Their Tale

Jashan and Karan met in the early years of high school through mutual family friends hitting off with a short teenage romance. Karan soon moved to another state for medical school but, they found each other again on social media feeling that spark all over again. After four years of long distance, he finally moved back and hence began their wedding journey! The duo is pretty adventurous and love having a good time with amazing food, drinks, and each other. They often goof around with one another or their friends and are always planning their next holiday!

The Proposal

Spilling the beans about her dreamy proposal the bride says, “I was back in town for one night between two overseas trips and Karan said he wanted to go and have a nice dinner to make the most of our one night together. I got dressed and we both walked down under the Sydney Harbour Bridge until I saw a red carpet, roses and helium balloons with MARRY ME. After the question was answered (with an obvious yes!), our family and friends popped out from behind the wall.”
