Oftentimes, it’s some of the most uniquely traditional elements that make a wedding stand out and that exactly holds true for this big fat Ahmedabad soiree.

Themed around Radha-Krishna, Noopur and Meet’s wedding was delightfully soaked in traditional vibes, bright happy hues, and just the right tinch of modish elegance. And while that unquestionably took our breaths away, what made us go “oh boy” were the couple’s looks breathing in timeless elegance and grace.

About The Couple

Their Tale

Noopur, a dentist, and Meet, a businessman, both hail from Ahmedabad, Gujarat and their families have been friends for a long time now. However, the duo met each other three years ago in Udaipur on a trip that the two families planned together. It was there that the two connected, fell in love, and decided to spend their lives together forever. They had to go through a lot of tough times as Meet is two years younger to Noopur but it’s like they say, “it’s all destiny and what is meant for you will find it’s way to you!”

The Proposal

It was just after a week the two met since Meet was absolutely sure of spending a lifetime with Noopur. While they started dating, the two alongside got to convincing their parents which was hard and took almost six months because of the age gap between the duo.

The Details

Wedding Planning & Details

Noopur got down to planning her wedding and looking for inspiration as soon as they decided on their wedding date. While she took loads of inspiration from Instagram and The Crimson Bride, stylist Aesha Desai helped the couple in curating their wedding looks.

For how Barf Gola Celebrations & Go Bananas designed and decked up the duo’s wedding charmingly and The Royal Affair framed it exquisitely, the entire celebration was a surreal experience in itself.

The Colorful Mehndi

A riot of colors, classic elements, and lots of blooms, the mehndi ceremony was a joyous affair. The decor included colored drapes, tassles, dreamcatchers, floral installations and other quirky pieces, all infused together to build a setup of absolute cheer.

Noopur's Look

Noopur slipped into a surreal multi-hued lehenga by JigyaM done in pastel shades which she paired up with an edgy choker set. Ulupi left her hair half open in loose waves and gave her soft smokey eyes letting her outfit make the most noise.

Meet's Look

Meet complemented her perfectly in a dusty blue bandhgala looking all dapper and crisp and yet casual.

Sangeet Night

The sangeet decor was exceptionally blooming in traditional floral garlands, lights, and unique elements.

Noopur's Look

Noopur for the night donned an electric blue Sabyasachi lehenga that she gorgeously bedecked with a huge rani haar and a polki set from Sagar Jewellers. To further elevate her look, she wore middle parted half braided hair coupled with simplistic makeup and tiny red bindi.

Meet's Look

Meet, on the other hand, went all traditional in his Anita Dongre attire that consisted of a midnight blue salwar kurta and a red long jacket marked with florals all over.

Haldi Ceremony

While the bridal seating backdrop done in different hued marigold flowers was the highlight of the haldi decor, Noopur’s simplistic look in a yellow saree and floral jewellery won hearts.

The Wedding

Drenched in romantic hues of pinks, peaches, yellows, and greens, the wedding ceremony decor looked nothing short of a heaven. Especially with the cascading bells and the huge Radha-Krishna mandap backdrop. The decor was truly an epitome of a traditional setup crafted with bespoke opulence.

Noopur's Look

Going absolutely classic with her D-day look as well, Noopur opted for a statement red Sabyasachi lehenga. Adding tons of royalty to her outfit were the bespoke and unique jewellery pieces from Sagar Jewellers. A timeless polki & emerald set teamed up with an oversized polki panchlada was further paired up with pearl haath phools and traditional bangles.

A neat bun, light copper eyes, and a bold lip stitched it all up making her look everything that bridal dreams are made of.

Meet's Look

Meet too went timeless in a classic Varun Bahl Ivory sherwani which he teamed up with a stole marked with gorgeously embroidered borders. A light beige safa and pearl & ruby malas added unparalleled flamboyance to his look.
