Rekindling your hearts with stories of love is what we adore the most about our work and the world as of now, sure gives us all the more reason to indulge in bringing you heartwarming tales. One such tale that filled our hearts with happiness and the world’s love is of Namha and Edul—their proposal & engagement bash that’ll enchant your eyes and charm your hearts.

About The Couple

Namha and Edul met each other at one of her workplaces when they started working in the wedding event industry. This ‘Tom & Jerry’ couple (as their colleagues often describe them) soon started working together and their fates were sealed at their very first event. Their admiration & respect for each other only grew henceforth, laying a foundation of friendship which blissfully blossomed into love.

Namha then started her own Wedding Planning Company, ‘Castles & Coasters‘, back in 2018 with Edul always alongside her. Supporting & encouraging her throughout while guiding the team along with, he soon became an essential part of the C&C journey and the duo has been taking over the world of weddings ever since.

They both found their togetherness in their zeal for creating magical moments and soon realized that they would only want to spend the rest of their lives with each other.

The Proposal

For Namha, a Punjabi and Edul, a Parsi, the first obvious step towards getting hitched was to get their parents approve of their love & decision with their blessings. That was followed by a trip to Goa with their friends when Namha got a hunch of the grand proposal. She would doll up her finest everyday awaiting the proposal but, would go to bed every night wondering, “Will it happen tomorrow?”

But, it wasn’t until 15 days before the engagement when Edul had planned the big day for. He took her to one of their favorite restaurants on the pretext of a client meeting and little did she know that she was walking into a proposal of her dreams!

With ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran playing in the background and candles & blooms making up for the aisle, Edul led Namha to a spot that was set up just for the big moment under a clock. The clock was symbolic of their love; that time would never stop for anyone or anything just like their love. He went down on his knees, read her a letter that he wrote, and with tears his in his eyes asked her to marry him.

The Engagement Ceremony

The proposal was followed by the pre-planned engagement bash that was weaved with all things beautiful and dreamy. Designed & executed by the planner duo themselves, the celebrations were hosted at InterContinental, Mumbai which was bedecked flamboyantly. White and green themed decor boasting of white drapes, flowers, and table settings with a pop of yellow on the chairs and foliage were infused together.

The highlight of the ornamented space though was the cherry blossom ‘Memory Tree’ festooned with shimmery strings and photos of the guests! Staying true to their relationship, the couple ditched the usual cake and opted for a cake made of different cheese wheels and exotic fruits.

The bash was oh-so-aesthetically framed by the team of ace photographers Jodi Clickers and the photos would definitely have you swooning.

For the nuptials, the couple looked absolutely stunning in their complementing outfits. While Edul looked dapper in his crimson hued Sabyasachi kurta and churidaar set, Namha frolicked about in her black and crimson heavily embroidered chic lehenga by Manish Malhotra.

While she accessorized her outfit with an elaborate polki, pearl, and ruby choker set, half-tied hair and subtly flushed makeup completed her look flawlessly. The duo sure had a time of their lives on the day and the photos say it all. Have a look!
