About The Couple

Their Tale

Srishti, working in an MNC and Dev, an officer in Indian Air Force, met each other in August 2018 when her sister played the cupid as her husband and Dev were posted together in Darjeeling. Even though the duo wasn’t looking for a relationship, the two decided to get married on their first date itself. Yes!

After spending just a couple of hours with her, Dev was sure that she was the one for him. And even though she insisted that they spend some more time together, he knew this is what he wanted and would convince Srishti anyhow. And well, within a week they even got #rokafied in an informal home ceremony!

The two, as the bride says, “are madly in love and can’t keep our hands off each other!” They both are fun loving, adventurous extroverts, and likes to socialize a lot. They both are supportive of each other’s goals and tend to look after each other by taking care of the little things.

The Details

Wedding Planning & Details

The couple and Srishti’s mommy darling planned the entire wedding themselves from the scratch and boy the revelries turned out to be a perfectly knitted celebration that’ll tug at your hearts. They wanted an intimate wedding where they could enjoy this time of their lives to the fullest.

They chose Doab Vilas, Meerut as the venue for their intimate wedding and the property’s in-house decor team helped bring their wedding vision to life by bedecking it in an exquisite fashion!

The team of Razz Films & Photography shot the entire wedding phenomenally capturing every single moment in timeless frames. The lens of Nikhil Kalpande captured the duo’s spirited and colorful reception with an equal zest.

The Mehndi Ceremony

While Srishti got her henna done beforehand amidst her family members, the following mehndi function kick-started the soiree on a super pretty and whimsical note.

They went absolutely minimal on the decor that was set up using a decked up cycle. White florals, marigolds, and foliage were primarily incorporated coupled with other elements like parasols and terrariums.

For the ceremony, the duo coordinated in a vivid royal blue color setting a stark contrast against the chic pastel-themed decor. As Srishti designed & chose all of Dev’s outfits, for this function he looked dapper and crisp in a blue shirt teamed up with a matching scarf and a grey trouser.

Srishti, whereas, looked absolutely stunning in a Primavera Couture slit skirt & crop top set marked with intricate sequin embroideries. While statement earrings & a dainty maang-tikka from Diva Art Jewellers accessorized her outfit, she dolled herself up in long beachy waves, smokey eyes, and fuschia pink lips.

Haldi & Pool Party

The yellow and white themed haldi was subdued riot of hearty colors. Be it the seating areas or the wreath style couple seating, the entire space boasted of yellow drapes, marigolds, white chrysanthemums, a pop of red roses, and colorful pinwheels.

Srishti's Haldi Look

While Dev went comfy and casual in a yellow khadi shirt, shorts, and red Vans, Srishti slipped into a musk melon orange and mud brown sequined lehenga which she teamed up with red floral jewellery from Flosaira.

She did her own makeup and suited herself with golden eyes, ruby red lips, a Swarovski bindi and open tresses done in curls.

Srishti's Pool Party Look

Srishti later changed into a breezy yellow crop top with floral palazzos from Forever 21 and accessorized her look with an oversized rose and Baby’s Breath tiara and matching bracelets.

The theme for this night of partying was romantic western and the entire decor was done in white which was amped up with abundant lighting. Chandeliers, decked up terrariums, orchids and red roses for a tinch of hue, and a structured candle photobooth entwined gracefully with the theme.

Couple Looks

For the night, Srishti dolled up in a black heavily sequined Primavera Couture gown soaring the temperatures high with her glamour quotient. She opted for bold layered pieces that made up for her neck jewellery coupled with statement Swarovski earrings.

Amandeep Ahuja gave her a flushed look accentuated with bold shimmery eyes and pale glossy lips while she left her hair open in strong curls accessorized with a bejewelled hairclip.

Dev, on the other hand, went all handsome and formal in a checkered black three piece suit with a grey waistcoat, a white shirt and a black tie.

Telban Ceremony

For this small and intimate ceremony, elements from the previous fucntions’ decor were reused brilliantly to create a cheerful setup that complemented the bride’s outfit.

Srishti's Look

She designed her outfit for this ceremony as well and the ensemble was a beautiful mix of printed teal skirt, an edgy & chic coral top, and a matching dupatta.

While she teamed up her outfit with big earrings, a matching maang-tikka, and bangles, she did her eyes in a bold smokey look, her lips in red, and pulled it all off with a ponytail.

The Wedding

The traditional themed wedding was all bedecked in the hues of red and Ivory highlighted with lights and a tad bit of bling. Be it the cascading shimmery strings at the entrance, the glittery initial and hashtag monograms, or the gota & bell hangings festooning the mandap, even the tiniest of details added umpteen to the vibe.

Amandeep gave her bold shimmery eyes teamed up with perfect nude lips and a tiny maroon bindi coupled with a simple & subtle floral bun.

Dev's Look

For Dev, Srishti designed a sherwani that brilliantly complemented with her outfit. He looked like a true royalty in his coral-hued sherwani which he teamed up with a churidaar, a simplistic stole, and a safa, all in deep red that matched with Srishti’s outfit color.

A five-stringed ruby mala from Diva Art Jewellers added the unparalleled finishing touches to his look.
