About The Couple

Their Tale

Swati and Kamlesh met each other in their class almost a decade back when he got her e-mail address and the two became great friends. Their friendship soon blossomed into a relationship which lasted almost ten years before they finally decided to tie the knot.

The duo loves travelling and Kamlesh loves clicking it all in time and frames and hence, the couple started travel blogging. They love discovering new places, trying out new recipes, and music. For that matter, Kamlesh is an excellent singer while tabla, harmonium, violin, and piano is a mastered art by them.

The Proposal

For the proposal, Kamlesh decided to revel in the early days of their bond and decided to propose to Swati at a park by river Thames that they always went to as kids. He went down on his knees at a bench they always sat at and where Kamlesh had asked Swati out orginially. “It was just us and absolutely magical,” the bride says.

She accessorized her look with a gorgeous polki & meenakari set from Purab Paschim and floral hand jewellery from Prune India. While hairstylist Ruchi Arya left her luscious locks half open, makeup artist Jasmeet Kapany gave her soft her soft and pretty subtle lip.

The Royal Sangeet

The hearty mehndi ceremony was followed by a red and gold themed sangeet in the evening for which the space was bedecked in a regal and palatial aura. While crystal candelabras and small glass candles marked the setup, the red and gold table settings and the ambient lighting set the tone.

Couple Looks

The duo went oh-so-royally contrasting for this event in their tastefully bespoke outfits. Kamlesh donned a bewitching marsala Tarun Tahiliani sherwani with cream trousers and looked absolutely dapper and stylish.

Swati went glamorously classy in her floor-length Rimple & Harpreet Narula ensemble done in an intricately embellished and multi-hued chevron pattern. She paired it up with oversized and statement chand-baalis from Amrapali that took her look a notch above.

While Jasmeet Kapany gave her pretty mauve eyes and a bold wine lip, Ruchi left Swati’s hair sleek and loose to frolic about in their own gorgeousness.

Pastel Themed Pheras

For the dreamy pheras, amidst the pastel chairs, an enchanting floral mandap done in sorbet-hued blooms and roses with a tuberose jaal ceiling stood like a magnificent sight to behold.

Swati's Wedding Look
