About The Couple

Their Tale

The duo met each other at a temple six years ago and ended up becoming best friends. Later on, after a few months of asking each other out only to get a “no” for a response, first by her and then by him, Abhishek surprised Jaisel with a cute proposal on a long drive. And of course, she said yes! They both love long drives, bike rides, exploring new places, and working out at the gym together!

The Proposal

The bride shares, “I had asked him out on his birthday and he was playing for sunburn at Goa. He knew I had started liking him after I had told a no to him at the college fest. So, I thought of asking him out once more & told him to meet me. He picked me up and we then went on a long drive. While we stopped at a highway, I asked him out and he told me a no again. I got down from the car to take a view of the beautiful spot where we had stopped when he called me in and there he was with a cake and a beautiful diamond ring waiting for my YES!!!!”

The Details

Wedding Planning & Details

Jaisel & Abhishek’s destination wedding in Rajasthan was a marvelously royal affair with all the ceremonies themed in a unique and different way.

Planned, styled, and even framed remarkably by the team of Tales 2 Tell, the soiree was a charming and aesthetic blend of all things beautiful and had us gasping in awe every now and then.

The Mehndi Ceremony

Hosted in Jawai Bandh, the mehndi ceremony was a vivid setup boasting of yellows and marigolds. Yellow & green drapes, an all marigold bridal jhula seating, and elements like hanging umbrellas, Rajasthani puppets, colorful floral garlands, etc., marked the entire decor.

Jaisel's Look

Jaisel slipped into a bewitching pastel-hued ombre lehenga by Chamee & Palak done in intricate sequin and bead embroideries. She teamed it up with a striking pearl & polki choker neck piece, matching earrings, kadas, and a ruby ring.

Anigha Jain gave her a minimal and subtle look for the day, while Sunita Nadkar left her hair open in loose waves accentuated with side braids for a chic look!

Abhishek's Look

Abhishek too went subtle on his outfit and wore an all Ivory kurta & pants set which he paired with a crisp Ivory brocade bandi.

The Carnival

Next up was a peppy and a super fun event at the Maharani Bagh, Ranakpur. A mela themed celebration, the decor was a riot of traditional hues like yellow, green, orange, and sea green. While these colors prominently marked the cot and canopy seating, quirky elements like puppets, fabric dreamcatchers, thread tassels, umbrellas, and wooden boxes were done in contrasting hues. Multi-colored florals and marigolds further added tons to the vibe.

The Couple Looks

The duo for the event slipped into pastel hues to perfectly contrast their bright and vivid decor. Abhishek wore an asymmetrical bandi & kurta Telon set in hues of baby pink, pistachio, and off-white.

Jaisel, on the other hand, donned a Label: Anushree lehenga that was a medley of a colorfully embroidered off white top, a baby pink dupatta, and a powder blue skirt done in dainty mukaish work.

She accessorized her look with complementing floral jewellery, and while Anigha Jain gave her pale lips and bold eyes, her hairstyle clearly stole the show. While Sunita left Jaisel’s hair open in curls, she gave her one side cornrows along, accentuated with tiny pearls that clearly lent her a Boho-chic vibe.

The Sangeet Night

A night of glitz and glam at the King’s Abode, Ranakpur, the sangeet was one enchanting night of partying and dancing until legs hurt. Decked up in hefty white florals and lush greens, and further amped up with ambient and fairy lights, cascading glass baubles, the decor was simply spectacular. The all golf foliage tree at the couple stage was undoubtedly the highlight though!

The Couple Looks

The duo, for the evening, opted for a timeless and OG combination of bling and class with Abhishek wearing a statement piece and Jaisel frolicking in her shimmer.

Jaisel slipped into a gorgeous Ivory Pallavi Goyal lehenga laden with elaborate mirror and zardozi work. She accessorized her look with a stunning diamond choker set encrusted with emeralds and rubies and matching hand baubles.

While Sunita gave her half-tie hair with side twists, Anigha gave her soft smokey eyes, flushed cheeks, and bold red lip with a Swarovski bindi.

Abhishek, whereas, went all dapper in an all Navy kurta and bandhgala set designed by the bride.

Ring Ceremony & Walk-In Reception

The decor for this poolside ceremony at the King’s Abode, Ranakpur was all about pastels, truckloads of florals, and an elegantly rustic vibe. The low-rise couple stage setup boasted of a pretty backdrop that was a blend of white draped structure and a lush green wall festooned with colorful flowers and branches. White couch seating, chandeliers, and vases were the perfect finishing touches.

The entire venue was adorned with pretty florals and printed guests seating highlighted with a rustic rustic wreath photo booth.

Jaisel's Look

While Abhishek opted to go all classic in a three-piece suit, Jaisel wore picked up a surreal pistachio-hues Neharika Lehenga by Anita Dongre. An elaborate meenakari choker set done in uncut diamonds and pearls further elevated her look by multifolds.

Coupled with a tousled floral accentuated braid, a subtle and flushed makeup with a crimson bindi complemented her look flawlessly.

The Dreamy Pheras

The most whimsical ceremony of this entire soiree, the stylists literally outdid themselves with the decor for the pheras. Set atop a pond, the all floral and foliage rustic mandap was a heavenly sight to behold. The floral varmala stage was amped up with an upside-down sparklers backdrop that made the jaimala ceremony a sight to behold.

The entire space was beautifully marked with ambient lights, cascading lamps and bulb strings.

Jaisel's Wedding Look

Jaisel, for the pheras, suited herself with a red and pink shaded Ekaya Banaras lehenga done in intricate embroideries. For her traditionally unique look she chose a glorious mix of jewels that took it all a notch above.

A borla matha-patti, jadau choker set, a diamond Laxmi rani haar, diamond nath, and her grandma’s 60 year old haath-phool entwined exquisitely to make up for her flamboyant baubles.

Sunita Nadkar gave her a regal gajra and Baby’s Breath accessorized floral bun, whereas, Anigha Jain chose for Jaisel’s look, shimmery gold eyelids, pretty pink lips, and a maroon bindi.

Abhishek's Look

Abhishek opted for a classic groom look and donned a Telon off-white chikankari sherwani with zardozi work & straight fit pants. He teamed his ensemble with a dainty five-stringed mala and customized handmade jutti designed by Jaisel.
