Hosted at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace, Priyanka Chopra & Nick Jonas’s royal big fat wedding didn’t let us keep calm then and so does not their first anniversary this year.
The most adorable and the mushiest couple completes one year today and we can’t stop ourselves from reveling in their love and sheer happiness all over again. This is why we decided to take you through the grandeur and everything fairytale-ish that their wedding journey was!
Their wedding revelries kick-started with a super vibrant and high-spirited mehndi ceremony. The photos framed by the ace photographer Joseph Radhik literally screams of joy and unbound hearty emotions. Priyanka looked effervescent as ever in a multi-hued Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga while she frolicked about happily.
Following the day mehndi was an uber jazzy, groovy, and happening sangeet night were literally everybody set the stage on fire. Donning glamorous Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla ensembles, the couple swooned us over with their elegant yet voguish looks.
The world had their eyes on the couple when they took the Christian vows is a regal yet romantic all floral and foliage setup. In fact, everybody had their eyes on Priyanka’s Ralph Lauren wedding dress with a freakin’ 75 ft long veil that swayed behind her.
The cutesy couple then tied the knot in a traditional hindu ceremony. While Nick Jonas totally rocked the desi dulha look in an Ivory Sabyasachi sherwani teamed up with stunning accessories, safa, and a stole, PeeCee quite literally stole the show in a monochrome Sabyasachi lehenga with exquisite jewellery.
And then followed their post wedding celebrations, basically, a series of receptions that the couple hosted. The first reception was hosted at the Taj Palace, New Delhi which was a plush affair the couple had the temperatures soaring high with their crisp and stylish looks. While Nick looked dapper in a tux, Priyanka went all glimmering in a striking Falguni Shane Peacock lehenga.
Their New Delhi reception was followed by an opulent Mumbai reception for the entire media for which Priyanka decided to go modern with a perfect dash on traditional for her look. She slipped into a Sabyasachi brocade corset lehenga which she paired up with statement Victorian jewels and a bun hairstyle accessorized with baby’s breath flowers.
And then it was time for the much awaited starry B-town reception that was one upbeat and fiery night. The night of glitz and glam witnessed the entire b-town dressed in their stylish best with Nickyanka swooning us all with their flamboyant looks. While Nick opted for a black tux, Priyanaka went for an easy glam in a gorgeously embroidered Anu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga embellished with sequins and crystals.
