The bride reveals, “My engagement ring is a round cut diamond in the Tiffany setting, set in platinum with six-prongs. I wanted something simple and timeless and a single rock was perfect. Udit actually chose this ring on his own! He went ring shopping with his family and they did well at keeping it a secret. My wedding band has a half circle of round diamonds and is set in platinum as well.”

Simi & Udit
A journey that began years back and blossomed into a lifetime of togetherness, Simi and Udit’s tale of love is a real mushy one and equally cheerful and spirited is their wedding that took place in Sydney. For as vibrant and LIT the wedding shenanigans were, they were captured with equal vividness by Rolling Canvas lending us photos that are a literal treat to look at. You wouldn’t stop scrolling through the photos again and again! Have a look!
About The Couple
Simi and Udit’s tale begins back in 2012 when she was completing her final high school exams and he was finishing his second year of medical school. When she stumbled upon his social media, she decided to reach out to him through a mutual friend.
“A few weeks later, Udit picked me up from my family home and took me out for dinner. It sounds surreal but the moment I saw him, I knew he was someone special.” recalls Simi.
They love spending time with their family and friends, going to the gym, travelling and watching Netflix together and basically, doing anything and everything but, with each other.
The Proposal Story
Udit proposed to Simi at the Astarte Suites in Santorini, Greece. After a day of cruising, snorkelling in the Aegean Sea and dinner on the boat while watching the sunset, he had a surprise planned for her back in their room. Amidst an all rose and candle setup he asked her to be his wife and they later celebrated it by facetiming her family and a drink by the pool.
