About The Couple
Drishti and Deepak met each other in Dubai through mutual friends but since she lived in London and he in San Francisco, they weren’t sure if they could make this work. But once they headed back and were apart, they knew they wanted to be with each other. They would stay connected and kept talking to each other the entire time. They both are a homely couple who share their love for food and travelling. While they love to cook and try new restaurants and different cuisines, they also spend a lot of their time travelling ticking off the places in their travel bucket list.
Deepak planned a super romantic proposal for Drishti that took them from London to Paris. From the station, a driver picked them up and took them to a boat on the river Seine where they dined watching the beautiful sights of Paris while a violinist played music for them. They then headed back to London and went to St. Paul’s Cathedral which is also Drishti’s favorite spot in London. It was there that Deepak went down on his knees and asked her to marry him.
Hosted at the JW Marriott Resort & Spa, Jaipur, #DrishDeepInLove wedding was exactly how the couple wanted and had planned for—royal yet intimate. The couple chose Horizon Wie as their planners who managed the bring the couple’s visions to life and in an absolutely flawless manner. While they curated the wedding perfectly, DotDusk framed the soiree quintessentially capturing every bit and moment beautifully.
The revelries kicked off with a welcome Sufi Sundowner which was an all royal affair oozing with elegant and graceful decor
Since, the dress code for the evening was fusion wear, Deepak suited himself with a printed Jodhpuri suit and matching shoes while Drishti wore a multi-hued Monisha Jaising indo-western gown. She accessorized her outfit with a pair of earrings and a bracelet and Ojas Rajani who dolled her up for all the events, gave her bouncy wavy tresses and subtle makeup.
AfterGlow- The After Party
The sundowner was followed by a happening night of partying and enjoying to the fullest. The decor for the club themed party was equally peppy with colorful chain curtains, lamp ceilings, edgy signages, games, and a LIT printed dance floor.
For the party, while Deepak kept it all casual in a tee, Drishti changed into an uber cool ensemble of a black crop top and a black skirt embellished with colorful beaded design.
The Rajasthani themed day mehndi was a super vibrant and colorful affair marked with bright hues of yellow, orange, pink, and green. Multi-hued drapes, hanging lamps, thread and gota garlands, signboards, marigold arrangements, hanging puppets, etc., marked the entire decor. Quirky favor stations, candy bars, and an astrology counter kept people engaged and entertained throughout.
Keeping up with the lively spirit of the ceremony, the couple slipped into equally effervescent outfits. Drishti wore an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla multi-colored lehenga with a thigh-high zipper slit which she teamed up with matching juttis from ASAL by Abu Sandeep. While subtle yet stunning polki jewellery accessorized her outfit and half open hair and pale lips gave her a subdued look, that bright green eyeliner was the perfect pop of hue to up her style game.
Deepak, on the other hand, who got most of his outfits from Aza Fashions, wore a bright yellow sherwani with beige salwar and black loafers.
The Sangeet Night
The mehndi was followed by Sangeet in the evening, which was an ivory and blingy affair. Marked with ivory seating couches, floral arrangements, cascading shimmery strings and crystal garlands and oversized centrepieces, the entire place looked glam and glistening.
Drishti slipped into a custom made Kresha Bajaj Lehenga in midnight blue. While the embellished border was marked with London & San Francisco skylines, her sultry blouse with a gorgeous deep neckline added that wow factor to her ensemble. With her outfit, she opted for glam diamond jewellery, bold eyes, and a nude lip.
Deepak whereas, looked handsome in an all black bandhgala.
For this super traditional and regal outdoor function, the printed mandap-cum-stage was an equally majestic one in hues of pinks, white, and lilacs, and marked with personalized elements. The couple chairs were accessorized with cushions embroidered with hearts and the couple’s names over it and a matching hand fan.
For her wedding, Drishti chose for herself a pink Sulakshana Monga belted lehenga replete with floral thread and sequin embroideries. What stood out were the unique sleeves and the wedding procession embroidered all over the skirt breathtakingly. Half open hair, polki jewellery, flushed cheeks, pale pink eyelids and lips elevated her bridal look by multifolds.
He complemented his wifey in a cream sherwani with embroidered florals and teamed it up with a blush pink stole and a matching safa.
The night was one helluva lit up celebration done in classic and elegant hues. While shimmery golden tablescapes, pearl accessorized chairs, crystal strings, and foliage and rose floral decorations made up for the decor, Guru Randhawa amped up the vibe with his upbeat performances.
Deepak donned a classic black tux by AQube by Amber whereas, Drishti slipped into an enchanting Dolly J gown trailing behind her laden with embellishments and intricate work. She matched up the striking maroon hue of her outfit with a bold lip, a classy diamond & ruby set, and a side tucked bouncy mane.
