About The Couple

How did they meet?

They say you don’t have to find love, When the time is right, love finds you and your life becomes even more beautiful: For Prachi and Dev such was the case, despite brushing shoulders on a number of occasions, destiny only made them meet when the time was just right. This happened when they coincidentally met in Singapore . “he had moved over to Singapore for work in early 2014 and moved back from London to Singapore towards the end of 2014. He had heard about me through mutual friends and was looking for a chance to meet but somehow it never happened until I officially moved back. We coincidentally met my first weekend back and hit it off immediately. We then started catching up for lunches, dinners & post-work gym sessions and the rest became history :) “

How are they as a couple?

Despite being poles apart in many ways, we also share a common interest when it comes to traveling to new places, trying out new cuisines or hitting the gym. We also make sure to push each other out of our comfort zones and expanding our likes and dislikes.

Tips for brides-to-be

1. Stress as MUCH as you want till the hour before your 1st event is about to start, but the moment it all begins - forget about EVERYTHING and just enjoy and take in those moments with 100% attention and fun. It’s going to be the best few days of your life - all your dear ones are there for you - if you have fun, they have fun.

2. Be the heart of the party - both you & the groom, again going back to point no.1 - if you have fun, your guests will automatically have the best time ever. No one enjoys a stressful situation.

3. Give your photographers ample time before each event to get quick couple shots in – it’s so very worth it! And make SURE you dedicate a responsible family member or friend to coordinate intricate moments with the photography/videography team. You want to make sure that they get given enough time to get all the family/friends interviews in and this can only be done if you have someone handling it with full diligence. These photos and videos is all that you have left of those days at the end of it all. Make sure you capture it the best way possible!
