A Dreamy Proposal With a Gorgeous Decor That’ll Woo Your Hearts
Proposal stories for some inexplicable reason have our hearts and make us go weak in the knees every time we come across one. Which is why when we chanced upon this proposal that was planned and executed in just 72 hours we couldn’t resist ourselves from swingin’ it in here for you.
It all began when Rakshit and Aishwariya’s big engagement bash was just around the corner being planned by the team of Obelus Events. On realizing how Rakshit hadn’t event proposed to Aishwariya because he couldn’t find that one special moment amidst all those hustling preps and families getting involved, they came to his rescue right away.
Rakshit met Aishwariya in London at the LSE Summer School Accommodation and found her really cute. Since they had common friends, they told him that she travels by the London Tube every day and that is when Rakshit too hopped on the train to bump into her.
Working out on this cute story of theirs, along with other milestones from their journey, the planners ideated the entire proposal around their tale and specifically London. They curated an abso-freaking-lutely adorable and warm setup at Rakshit’s home itself using the terrace to recreate the first time they had met. And the ace photographers Wedding Nama phenomenally worked their magic in capturing each and every moment of the evening.
Elements like the tube station signage, a rose petal, and candle lined a walkway, a cozy canopy seating, a ‘story of us’ corner done with simplistic photo frames, a sit-down dinner table, and illustrated easels made up for the entire setup.
Further taking it all a notch above, the place was decked up with balloons, Aishwariya’s favorite flowers, fairy lights, and huge candle lamps making the place look like a dream. Well, they even had a guitarist humming their favorite songs to amp up the vibe.
The romantic setup, the gorgeous ring, and Rakshit’s speech surely worked their charm and it all ended with moist eyes, happy hearts, and a YES! Have a look at their mushy, brimming with love photos.
