As envisioned by the couple, their wedding was an intimate affair with most of the functions having less than 100 guests. The theme for the entire soiree was elegant and romantic and included fresh flowers, greens, and classical musicians to curate a warm and cozy kind of atmosphere. It was neither over the top nor minimal but, a perfect blend of the two with both the western designs and Indian accents complementing each other. While the wedding decor and style was exceptionally curated and executed by The Mogra Collective, the lens of the photographers Anup J Kat and Sharan Ranjit and the ace cinematographer The Wedding Filmer made sure to capture the essence of the wedding in their frames beautifully.

About The Couple
How they met
Riccha & Andrew’s is a cute and funny story. Riccha recalls the first time she met Andrew in their city while she was hosting a pub quiz. Being the sole participant in a crowd of many many groups competing, he counters questioned everything of hers which lead to a friendly banter between the two. When later Riccha went up to him to apologize and offer a consolation prize he asked her to have dinner with him instead. And hence began their two-year-long friendship which developed into a serious relationship with its own share of ups and downs finally leading to a forever and always.
How are they as a couple
Andrew is your perfectly dressed, belt that matches his shoes, never wears black to the office, 50 shades of (almost) the same grey suit, graduated from a ‘kind of a big deal’ university’ Wall Street guy. Whereas Riccha is star-struck, an engineer turned dancer/ singer/ baker/ writer; always trying her hand at different things to save up to ultimately make her current dream come true kind of girl. But together, they are like no other.
The bride spills the beans saying, “We are happily weird and normal and not normal and silly and kind and happy and hangry and definitely in love. We watch TV shows like a religion. We love to explore new places and cultures, we play music like it’s part of our routine (like breathing) and we care about food. A lot.”
The Proposal Story
As a Christmas present, Andrew decided to take Riccha and her sisters to a skiing vacation in Taos, New Mexico where they were joined by his 2 best friends from college. On the last day of their trip, they took the ski lift to the top of the mountain and at golden hour (also the same time the mountain closes so they were the only people on the mountain, and some ski patrol officers of course) in the snow and the sunlight, he got down on his knee and asked her to marry him.
